With so many options on materials, colours and patterns, people often forget that the most important step is often choosing the best type of blind for your application. Getting this right will result in years of people admiring your window coverings. There is nothing worse than regretting a bad decision every time you look out your window. What do you want your blinds to do? Different blinds perform different functions and we can help you decide which blind is best for you.

Blockout Blinds
Pros: Block out light for sleeping. Total privacy, day and night. Good insulation especially with thermal backing. Lots of exciting new fabrics and colours available.
Cons: Do not give daytime privacy except at the cost of losing all light and visibility.

Cons: Can be heavy to lift up and down, and when raised may take up a lot of room in the top of the window.

Honeycomb Blinds
Pros: Fantastic insulation. Fit neatly in window. Wide range of colours. Blockout and translucent.
Cons: A more expensive option especially on big windows.

Roman Blinds
Pros: Bring a soft furnishing look to the room. Usually sit on the outside of the frame so maximise light exclusion and insulation.
